About the Role:
We are seeking a User Researcher who excels at balancing user-centric approaches with business objectives. In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, and UX Writers to deliver actionable insights that influence product development and contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research Initiatives: Conduct and lead targeted research projects to identify insights that inform product improvements and user experience enhancements.
- Collaborative Engagement: Act as a user advocate in all stages of product development, collaborating with design and product teams to ensure user needs are at the forefront.
- Diverse Research Techniques: Utilize various research methods including interviews, surveys, usability tests, and benchmarking to collect meaningful data.
- Insight Dissemination: Clearly document and communicate research findings to help integrate user insights into practical product strategies.
- Professional Development: Keep updated with industry trends and emerging tools to enhance personal expertise and the quality of research outputs continually.
- Mentorship: Support and guide less experienced researchers and team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
Job requirements
- Minimum 3 years of user research experience, ideally within tech-based environments.
- Relevant Background in fields such as psychology, ethnology, or industrial design.
- Strong ability in applying various qualitative and quantitative research methods and analyses.
- Great experience working with tools like Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and user testing platforms is a plus.
- Strong ability to integrate quantitative data with qualitative insights to support product decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences and foster strong team connections.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills in situations of conflict or resistance, ensuring productive collaboration and alignment towards user-centered outcomes.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing in English is essential.
