About the Role
The Support Engineer provides technical assistance to internal users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral issues across multiple operating systems. They handle remote and on-site support, equipment setup, and maintenance. Strong technical skills and customer-focused communication are key to ensuring smooth IT operations.
Job requirements
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and OS issues (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS)
Provide remote and on-site technical support for laptops, printers, scanners, and other devices
Install, maintain, and upgrade IT equipment for staff
Perform quality control checks on devices before delivery (performance, security, software setup)
Document issues, solutions, and best practices
Research and suggest optimal equipment specifications based on market analysis
Collaborate with IT teammates to solve complex problems
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a computing-related field (Computer Science, IT, or similar)
Familiar with Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS
Experience in troubleshooting hardware (laptops, printers, scanners) and software issues
Basic knowledge of networking concepts (CCNA, MTCNA, MCSA is a plus)
Comfortable working with IT devices like routers, switches, and servers
Hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues
Familiarity with IT equipment maintenance and support for internal users
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
