About the Role

As a Security Engineer at Snapp, you will work at the forefront of our security operations. Your primary responsibilities will include deploying, maintaining, and enhancing the tools and systems that support our security efforts. This role is key to ensuring the robustness and resilience of Snapp’s infrastructure while aligning with our overall security strategy.

Responsibilities

  1. Support and maintain security tools, platforms, and resources across Snapp’s environment.

  2. Collaborate with the security team to secure Snapp’s core infrastructure, services, and cloud environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Git).

  3. Develop and implement automation strategies and CI/CD pipelines for security testing, monitoring, and deployment.

  4. Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Splunk for monitoring and security data analysis.

  5. Work with other teams (DevOps, infrastructure, etc.) to integrate security best practices and improve overall system performance.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience with Kubernetes, Git, Ansible, and CI/CD practices.

  • Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems and their security configurations.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Go, Python, or Bash).

  • Proven experience maintaining and configuring Splunk for security monitoring and analysis.

  • Depth knowledge of web/network attacks and security best practices.

  • Experience managing enterprise Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).

  • Strong understanding of core security concepts, vulnerability management, and threat mitigation strategies.
