About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and proactive *Network Engineer* to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about network infrastructure, administration, and optimization to make a significant impact. As a Network Engineer at Snapp, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining robust and secure network solutions that meet our organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Configure and maintain network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with overall IT systems.
Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary improvements and preventive measures.
Participate in planning and executing network expansions, upgrades, and migrations.
Stay updated on the latest networking technologies, industry trends, and best practices to enhance system capabilities.
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
Hands-on experience with configuring and managing wired & wireless network devices Cisco, Mikrotik, Ubiquiti & Ruckus.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
Understanding of network security practices, including firewalls (FortiGate), intrusion prevention systems, and encryption protocols.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
