About the Role
A Legal Specialist has to manage all kinds of legal cases, such as court cases, lawyer assessment and selection, guide and control, dispute settlements and arbitration cases and litigation case management. Also should be collaborating with the legal litigation team in representing the company before courts and other judicial and administrative authorities, if required.
Responsibilities
As a Legal Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Performing tasks and duties typically assigned to an attorney, ensuring the company’s legal standing and interests are safeguarded.
Negotiating and structuring various types of agreements in close collaboration with the company, adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and protocols (PPPs).
Drafting and reviewing a wide range of agreements to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Preparing contractual notices or letters related to claims, penalties, terminations, or renewals of agreements.
Drafting appropriate responses to judicial inquiries.
Monitoring and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Reviewing assigned summons and complaints against the company, initiating contact with plaintiffs or their attorneys, and gathering material facts about allegations.
Classifying all related documents in litigation databases and ensuring proper documentation and archiving of all assigned cases and related correspondence.
Job requirements
BS/MS degree in Law
Lawyer or Lawyer Trainee
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Attorney
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)
Familiarity with working on CRM tools
Having an ownership mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work
Being a team player and willing to contribute wherever needed
Effective collaboration with different departments
Advanced proficiency in English (speaking and writing)
Familiarity with companies and related lawsuits
Knowledge of company and trademark registration processes (considered a plus)
