Job description
Safeguard the integrity of Snapp’s platform by identifying, analyzing, and preventing fraudulent activities.
Minimize financial losses while enhancing user trust through data-driven fraud detection strategies.
Deliver actionable insights that continuously improve fraud prevention capabilities and operational efficiency.
Analyze large-scale datasets to detect fraud patterns, anomalies, and emerging fraudulent behaviors.
Investigate complex fraud cases and conduct root cause analysis to uncover underlying issues.
Build dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to monitor fraud trends and measure business impact.
Design and evaluate fraud detection rules and models using performance metrics such as Precision, Recall, F1-score, and ROC-AUC.
Conduct A/B tests and analytical experiments to assess the effectiveness of fraud prevention initiatives.
Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders and business teams.
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service teams to implement scalable fraud prevention solutions.
Monitor evolving fraud techniques and proactively recommend new detection and prevention strategies.
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, MBA, or another quantitative field.
3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Fraud Analytics, Risk Analytics, or a similar analytical role.
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.
Hands-on experience with Python and data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
Solid understanding of statistics, hypothesis testing, experimental design, and analytical methodologies.
Familiarity with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and pattern recognition skills.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong business acumen with an understanding of fraud prevention and risk management concepts.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
High level of ownership, accountability, and ability to independently drive initiatives.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility and adaptability.
