Responsibilities

  • Shape positive public perception, build brand reputation, and manage communication across all channels.
  • Creating clear and concise messages that effectively convey the organization's key messages to target audiences
  • Write in a variety of styles and formats, and adapt their writing to suit different channels, such as social media, website, email, and press releases
  • Communicating and coordinating with the product team to ensure alignment and communication
  • Maintaining relationships with media outlets to secure coverage and promotions
  • Work closely with the product team to understand the latest app updates and develop communication plans to inform users about these changes
  • To translate technical information into user-friendly language and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Develop plans for awareness and promotion of new features and evaluate the outcome of the PR plan
  • Proactively monitor online sentiment and potential issues regarding the product, mitigating any negative impacts before they escalate.



Job requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor language to different audiences.
  • Strong active listening skills, demonstrating the ability to understand diverse viewpoints and ask insightful questions to clarify information.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting.
  • Proficient in media relations, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and building relationships with journalists.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, ensuring high-quality communication materials and accurate information is disseminated.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Understanding of the relevant industry landscape, competitor analysis, and target audience demographics.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and think critically to solve problems as they arise.
